Syllable box 1 contains 6 objects (2x one syllable, 2x two syllable, 2x three syllable objects) in a pale green box.
Syllable box 2 contains 6 pictures (2x three syllable, 2x four syllable and 2x five syllable pictures laminated and printed on a light green paper) in a pale green box.
For this activity, the children say the word out loud and clap the syllables. This is to teach children to listen to how many syllables there are so they can break them into smaller bits to remember and to understand the pattern of syllables in the words presented to them.
